Punta della Dogana

17 June, 2009

The Punta Della Dogana Museum of Contemporary Art is really an interesting new museum. Well restored, it seems they tried to maintain the original building as much as possible. The view is stunning, but unfortunately the terraces are closed.

A couple of pieces of the exposition are really amazing.

Don’t go on Wednesday, it’s free for Venetians and you could find a long queue (especially with bad weather when they don’t go to the beach!).

Pity about the terraces, but it looks lovely. I’m hoping to get back to Venice in December so I’ll pay a visit.
