Rioba head stolen

3 May, 2010

Friday night someone have removed and stolen the head of Sior Antonio Rioba one of the “Mori” of the “Campo dei Mori”.

Rioba was one of the three or four merchants brothers that escaped from the Morea in 1112 and lived in this Campo.

Here the statue and a scuba diver looking for the head in the nearest Canal.
